David LaPointe

David LaPointe brings over 40 years of hands-on construction experience to Lavorgna Kitchens in Oxford, CT, where his focus is on exceptional kitchen and bathroom design, custom millwork, and detailed renovations.

Since 2014, David has built an eclectic portfolio of custom homes, remodels, and even outdoor excavation work, giving him a deep understanding of how spaces are built and transformed. He also ran his own business specializing in handyman services and larger remodels, sharpening his ability to execute projects with precision and care. At Lavorgna Kitchens, he combines that expertise with a passion for thoughtful design and craftsmanship—helping clients bring beautifully functional kitchens, bathrooms, and custom cabinetry to life.

A graduate of Becker College and Eastern Connecticut State University with a background in communications, David blends technical skills with clear, client-focused communication. He lives in Litchfield, CT with his wife Cheryl and their two children, Natalie and Tim. When he’s not creating stunning interiors, David is an avid skier and an enthusiastic guitarist with classical training and experience playing in bands. Whether on the jobsite or at home with his guitar, he brings creativity, dedication, and a commitment to quality to everything he does.
